Land Art, earth (Ochre from Gundelfingen) applied on the tree

In the four seasons as well as at different times of the day, the earth applications on three trees were photographed over a period of one year. This photo was taken in summer. The resulting color steps were arranged in stripes and presented as a print (tree code #6) in the exhibition from May 1 to August 31, 2017 at the Museum+Stiftung Anton Geiselhart with other works. A canvas with earth application, which remained on the tree in Gundelfingen for 21 months, has been processed with water and earth from the site at the I-Park Foundation in the USA (Homage to Mark Rothko).
