For one month I am artist in residence in Santa Rosa, CA, USA with Heike Liss (Co-Founder Art Space Le Shed, Santa Rosa). Together we are currently preparing our exhibition Encounters, which we will be showing at the Art Space ESCOLAR in Santa Rosa from March 10, 2025.
We are creating paper using water from the Russian River and the North Pacific. The assembled papers will be used as a surface for projection of the video film Encounters / Water, which deals with the topic of water and of microplastics. An object and other works on paper will also be shown.
ESCOLAR’s exhibition space is a shipping container in which exhibitions and concerts have been held since 2019. ESCOLAR is an art and design research collective working at the intersection of regenerative agriculture and cultural production within an anti-capitalist and de-colonial framework.
